The facility has

blocked outgoing

communications.

• Port 443 in the firewall between

the local network and the

internet is blocked.

• Unsolicited outgoing

communications for the facility

to the internet is blocked.

 The IT department will be required to

open port 443 for HTTPS

communication.

 This may have been done to prevent

malicious software from sending data

out. The IT department will need to

add the address of the Eppendorf

servers to the whitelist in the firewall

this is to allow the outgoing

communications from the system to

pass through.
